PowerPoint Hack: How to Use the Crop Tool to Make Shapes


 PowerPoint's Format menu gives you lots of awesome options. In today's hack, I want to show you a fun feature of the Crop Tool. To access the cropping tool, you'll need to pull up the Format menu by clicking on your image.
Next, find the Crop to Shape Option in the Crop menu:

Pick a Shape and your image will be cropped to fit into that shape:

Viola! You've made a colorful shape. You can alter the shape some more by using the other features in the Crop menu like Aspect Ratio and Fill and Fit.
