Technology Thursday: The Best Site for Current Events

http://teachingtrio.blogspot.com/Today, I'm joining up with Teaching Trio for Technology Thursday!

I want to share one of my favorite websites: Associated Press' Interactive Twitter Feed. The Associated Press has great interactives and videos about current events that they only share on their Twitter feed. This is my go-to site for a quick lesson about a current event or something in the news.

The Musings of a History GalSome recent posts:
Triple Crown Winners
FIFA corruption scandal
Recap of the Ali-Liston fight
European Migrants

This site makes incorporating current events as easy as clicking on a button. I can show a video, an interactive timeline, a photo slideshow and so much more. No more scrambling at last minute to find an article for students to read or trying to create a PowerPoint presentation before class starts. Everything is already  done for you!
